Babies get sick a lot since their immune systems are still developing, so it's important that they get their required dose of medication when they're sick.
The problem is that most babies get really fussy when they're feeling ill, and the taste of medicine, or the simple sight of it, doesn't help.
One mother has a clever trick to get her baby boy to take his required dosage, and people online are loving her idea.
How to get "not one bit wasted"
Helena Lee's Facebook post has more than 160,000 shares after she shared how to not waste one bit of medicine.
"So for the last 24 hours I've struggled to get Alfie to take CALPOL, he has ended up covered in half of it where he spits it at me," she wrote. "Then i remembered seeing this trick."
The best part about this hack is that your baby won't spit the medicine out, start crying, or turn their head away.
With the help of a rubber nipple from a bottle and an oral syringe filled with medicine, Helena was able to give her baby all the medicine he needed without a fuss.
While some people pointed out that the mother could have just used a medicine bottle, sometimes a baby likes to drink from their own bottle.
Many parents were stunned by this clever trick, and can't believe they didn't stumble upon it sooner.
"What a brilliant way to give a baby medicine never thought about doing that but you learn new things every other day."
One Twitter user even called it "revolutionary."
Others were impressed, but aren't sure if it would work on their kid.
"[My daughter's] clever she'll take it then just sit there all innocent till I've walked away then spit it."
"We've tried it several times. It worked initially but he's now worked [it] out."
