Kate Grant does not look like your typical model, but that's exactly why she's making history.

The 20-year-old was crowned winner of the Teen Ultimate Beauty of the World Pageant, and has since made waves a model for big brands and retailers like Debenhams. She also had the opportunity to walk the runway at Belfast Fashion Week.

A force that can't be stopped, the pageant queen just added another major accomplishment to her resume.

Grant recently became a brand ambassador for the international cosmetics company Benefit, making her the first person with Down Syndrome to land the gig.

"We're so pleased to have her as one of our Wing Women," the company wrote on Instagram.

The makeup giant chose Grant after photos of her wearing one of their eyeliners received a lot of likes and comments on Instagram.

Now, the model's first campaign, which is for Benefit's new matte liquid liner, has finally been unveiled on social media, and as expected, it is the talk of the web.

Grant's supporters and Benefit's followers were equally pleased by this collaboration, and they took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

"What an inspirational young lady, thank you Benefit for the heartwarming equal chances with your models. And for the amazing makeup obviously," one user commented.

Another shared similar sentiments, writing, "So much love for you guys for hiring a beautiful model regardless of her disability! 💞💞💞 yaaas to diversity, and thank you for helping show that people with downs can achieve big as well as dream big!"

"In love with this!! So great to see @benefitcosmeticsuk promoting inclusivity!" added one user.

Grant re-posted the photo on her page, letting her followers know that she had a great week thanks to Benefit.

Her mother, Deirdre Grant, also couldn't hold in her excitement while speaking with Metro U.K, explaining that her daughter is paving the way for people with disabilities.

"She is paving the way for people coming behind her. She is aware of that and wants to spread awareness about inclusion for people with disabilities and that is what she has done from the very start," the proud mom said.

She added, "She does not allow obstacles to be in the way or her disability to stand in the way. She would say Down syndrome does not define me "” I am Kate."

Kudos to Benefit for being an inclusive brand. We can't wait to see what else Grant has in store this year!
