This recipe is so easy you won't believe you never thought of it before! You can make delicious and easy mini pizzas by using whole wheat wraps and a muffin tin!
They are the perfect little snack to make for kids right after school, or even just after a long day at work! It only takes a few minutes and you will have your own yummy mini deep-dish pizzas that you can top with whatever you toppings are your favorite! Ingredients:
- 3-4 whole wheat wraps
- 1 can pizza sauce
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 12 turkey pepperonis
- (Any additional toppings you want!)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees and coat a muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.
Place your pizza sauce in a bowl, and add in the Parmesan cheese, along with the oregano, basil, and garlic powder, stirring until combined.
Use a round cookie cutter to cut small circles out of the the whole wheat wraps.
Put the wrap into the cup of the muffin tin, pressing it to the bottom.
Scoop about 1-2 tbsps of sauce into each little cup, depending on how much sauce you like.
Sprinkle your mozzarella over each mini pizza evenly.
Add your pepperonis (or any other toppings you have chosen) and then place in the over for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is lightly browned.
Top with crushed red pepper flakes or Parmesan if you want and enjoy! So easy and fast you will love them!
