I loved Michael's Jackson's music, and if there's one thing we can all agree on about the King of Pop it is that he revolutionized the music industry. No one will ever be able to top what he did, at least not in this generation, but sadly, both in life and death, the entertainer has been a figure of controversy.
When he was alive, he was plagued with speculation about his family, appearance, and child abuse allegations. Michael was eventually acquitted of the charges, but just as he was about to make a comeback, he died.
Ever since the 50-year-old artist was found unresponsive in his home on June 25, 2009, there's been a ton of theories surrounding the circumstances of his demise.
According to the official autopsy results, he died of a cardiac arrest brought on by an acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication. His death was ruled a homicide and his physician, Conrad Murray, was eventually charged with involuntary manslaughter.
His family members, including sister LaToya, believed that Michael was murdered and as expected, they were relieved to see that justice was served. She opened up about the ordeal while appearing on CNN's Piers Morgan Live back in 2011, but it seems like she hasn't been able to come to terms with the loss of her brother.
According to E! News, LaToya hired professional medium Tyler Henry, so she would be able to communicate with Michael and find out what really happened on that fateful day.
"It was really emotional and I'm so thankful that LaToya did it," Tyler said. "I was really honored."
In a recent interview with the publication, Tyler, who is also the star of Hollywood Medium with Tyler, shared his experience during the reading.
Tyler described his session with LaToya and Michael, which will air during an upcoming episode of the show, as "one of the most surprising, bizarre, surreal experiences in my life."
"It's hard to even talk about the subject casually because he did, he came through!" Tyler told E! News.
He then explained that he went in with the expectation that Michael would "come through like moonwalking with like a whole audience full of people and a lot of feeling of like celebrity," but it was actually quite the opposite.
"He came through very vulnerable, very private," Tyler said. "He came across just like a brother trying to connect with his sister and it really wasn't that different than if I were connecting any random person to their brother. And it was just really special because it showed universally these connections are all something we can relate to. And even if we're a celebrity in life, they still connect on a personal level on the other side."
The 22-year-old medium then admitted that Michael had many messages to convey, most of which will be made public when the episode airs.
"He conveyed various messages and I think LaToya was still very curious about the nature of what exactly happened to Michael in his final moments," Tyler said. "There were some questions about the timeline as far as who was around at the time."
The medium hopes that his communication with Michael beyond the grave will clear up all the confusion surrounding his death.
He continued, "And so Michael basically came through, to the best of my ability I conveyed the timeline of what I saw to be true as far as painting that picture. And it just helped I think provide some validation for them because there were some questions about were certain people in the room at the time or if they're weren't."
"Things like that I think can really help people put things to rest. But especially when it's such a public figure, I think everyone who watches this episode will find a deeper sense of closure around Michael's passing as well."
There have been so many people trying to capitalize on Michael's death, so we hope for the sake of the Jackson family and the fans, this isn't just another gimmick to get publicity and profit.
The episode will air during Season 3 of Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry , which premiers on February 28 at 9 pm ET on E!.
