McDonald's has unveiled a new vegan burger that'll get many people smiling over their latest happy meal.
The burger, ceremoniously dubbed the McVegan, consists of a soy-based patty topped with tomato, lettuce, pickles, with vegan McFeast sauce, on a sesame bun.
Sounds good, but the catch? You can only get the burger at its sole location in Tampere, Finland, from Oct. 4 to Nov. 21.
McDonald's is only one of the latest brands to get on board with the vegan bandwagon, from Pizza Hut's vegan cheese pizza, to vegan Baileys, and vegan Ben and Jerry's.
Despite it's short test run, people from around the world have strong feelings about the burger.
Some are addressing the ingredients which compose the burger.
While others criticize the concept of a vegan product coming from a predominately meat-orientated fast food chain.
However, people are coming to the burger's defense, arguing the introduction of the burger will help veganism flourish and become mainstream in society.
Tell us, would you try a McVegan?
