Looks like real estate mogul Tim Gurner may be right after all. Millennials won't be buying homes anytime soon because the avocado craze is still very much alive and doesn't seem to be dying anytime soon.
If you thought we've reached peak avocado status with avocado-flavored chocolate bars and lattes being served in empty shells of the trendy fruit, you thought wrong.
One of the country's largest fast-food chains, McDonald's, announced that they'll be jumping onboard the avocado bandwagon with a new line of menu items.
Dubbed the Signature Crafted Recipes collection, the line will feature handcrafted artisan sandwiches topped with fresh pico guacamole made with Hass avocados, onions, Roma tomatoes, and real "flavors of lime and cilantro."
The guacamole will be served on three different sandwiches including the Pico Guacamole Artisan Grilled Chicken and Pico Guacamole Buttermilk Crispy Chicken, both made with 100% white meat, as well as the quarter-pound pure beef burger.
The best part? You don't have to pay extra for the guac!

In addition to the mexican-inspired, guacamole-topped sandwiches, McDonald's added a Maple Bacon Dijon Artisan Grilled Chicken and Sweet BBQ Bacon with Buttermilk Crispy Chicken sandwiches to the menu.
All of the new sandwiches will be served on an artisan roll or sesame seed bun with a lime wedge on the side. Fancy!
The introduction of these new items is reportedly McDonald's latest attempt to rebrand itself as a so called fast-casual dining chain.
The fast-food company has experienced a decline in profit over the last few years simply because Millennials prefer healthier food at affordable prices.
As a result, McDonald's has been revamping their menu to compete with chains like Chipotle by offering a higher quality products including a build-your-own-burger option and experimenting with popular ingredients like Sriracha sauce and avocado.
