Have you ever tasted something so mouth-wateringly delicious only to find out you'd have to wait an entire year before you could chow down on it again.
That's what countless people felt back in November 2017, which was the last time McDonald's had its elusive McRib on the menu.
However, fans of the tasty burger are in for a treat, as everyone's favorite fast food joint has announced that it'll temporarily be bringing back the McRib in a whopping 9,000 restaurants.
And if you can't make it to the restaurant, no problem - hungry consumers can also order the McRib on UberEats in an effort to promote its "McDelivery" option.
"While McDonald's has ushered in many new items this year "“ such as fresh beef in our quarter-pound burgers "“ we know our fans love this limited-time classic," McDonald's chef Mike Haracz said in a press release.
"We're excited to make it more accessible to customers with the speed and convenience they expect from McDonald's."
First launched in 1981, the McRib is composed of seasoned boneless pork, barbecue sauce, onions and pickles on a hoagie-style bun, and according to the company's website, has 480 calories, 24 grams of protein, 45 grams of carbohydrates, 22 grams of fat and 890 milligrams of sodium.
And although it's not exactly the healthiest of meals, when the public caught wind that the McRib was making a comeback, they couldn't help but express their glee.
Reactions
Once McDonald's unveiled the most exciting news of the month, social media users took to Twitter to share their joy with the public.
I don't mean to alarm anyone, but THE MCRIB IS BACK.

Some were more dramatic than others.
The McRib! I would eat the pork gruel straight out of the nozzle they use to pour it into the rib-shaped mold.

While most of us can't wait to get our hands on the decedent burger, if that's not your taste, McDonald's has another surprise in store for its breakfast lovers.
Say hello to the Triple Meat Stackers
Last Tuesday, the fast food franchise announced that on November 1, it will be introducing the new Triple Meat Stackers, which is a supersized version of its traditional sandwiches.
With triple the meat and double the cheese, each sandwich includes two sausage patties and two slices of cheese, topped with either bacon or an egg, and served on either a McMuffin, a biscuit, or McGriddle.
This is the first time McDonald's has come out with a new major breakfast menu item in the past 15 years, when the McGriddle was introduced nationwide.
But Haracz explained this is only the first product the company has come up with to revamp it's menu for breakfast dominance.
"We can't wait to see what they come up with next "” you never know what might end up on our menu," he said.
Unfortunately like the McRib, Triple Meat Stackers are only here for a limited time, so if you're feeling like a meatasaurus, make sure to grab one while you can!
