Mark Harmon has been starring in TV shows, movies, and our dreams, since about 1973. With his good looks, serious acting skills, and piercing gaze, it's no surprise he's been able to put together a very successful Hollywood career.
Even though he's been on hit shows like St. Elsewhere and Chicago Hope, and received two Golden Globe nominations for his role in Reasonable Doubts, Harmon is best known for his portrayal of Leroy Jethro Gibbs in NCIS.
Harmon hasn't lost any of his good looks as he's aged. He's arguably the most attractive man over 60 in Hollywood, and he's pushing 70!
You'd think a generation of adoring fans would go to his head too, but it hasn't.
"If other people think I'm okay looking, that's great, but I don't see it myself," he said in an interview. "When I look in the mirror, all I see is a bunch of fake teeth and football scars."
We're inclined to disagree.
What's more, it appears that the apple doesn't fall very far from the Handsome Tree.
As seen in Instagram posts, Mark's son, Sean, looks exactly like the star did when he was younger.
With the good looks and acting pedigree, it's no surprise that Sean is following in his father's footsteps. He put his familiar good looks to good use too, being cast as Young Gibbs in multiple episodes of NCIS.
He's steadily putting together quite the resume, with bit parts on numerous TV shows, including a new character on the NCIS spinoff NCIS: Los Angeles.
With some lucky breaks he should enjoy the same success as his father.
