Do you ever get that image in your head of the exact piece of clothing you're looking for, but then go search the mall and leave empty handed? Well, the same thing happened to me but instead of it being a clothing item, it was a specific piece of furniture.
So what did I do you ask? I decided to go ahead and build it myself! That's right, sometimes if you need something to be the exact way you want it, you just have to do it yourself.
The best part about making this table is that I didn't even spend a quarter of the amount I would have if I had choose to purchase an already built coffee table from a store. All that's required is about 3 different items, a bit of time, and viola...a brand new table to display in your living room.
If you aren't someone who's big into the DIY crafts, this coffee table is a perfect project to start on! The materials are minimal, the steps are simple, and at the end you have a beautiful piece of furniture that you can proudly show off and say that you made.

2. Next, stain the wooden table legs the same way you did the crates, and set aside to dry. Feel free to make the table legs whatever size you desire.
3. Assemble the crates into your coffee table design and then using a drill, screw 4 -1/2" screws into the crates to keep them together.
