When Long Island Medium stars Theresa and Larry Caputo announced they were separating last December, fans of the pair were highly optimistic there would be a reconciliation in their future, despite the fact they've openly discussed their breakup to the public.
Although many of us didn't see their split coming, both parties admitted on the show that their relationship had been rocky for a while.
"I think a lot of the frustration has to do with us not spending the time together anymore," Larry admitted to a friend during the season 10 finale. "Along with that comes the lack of communication so it's like losing your best friend. It's hard."
Theresa echoed her husband's sentiments during an interview with Good Housekeeping, adding that they've both changed during the course of their 28 years of marriage.
"[We're] working and finding our place. We've been together for a very long time. And people change. We all change. None of us are the same we were 10 years ago, five years ago, regardless of our work or what we're doing with our lives. We change, as people."
However, it looks like at least one half of the former have moved on, as Larry was recently seen stepping out with his new girlfriend, who looks eerily familiar.
The New Girlfriend
Celebrity gossip website TMZ caught up with the Caputo patriarch last month, who revealed he and his estranged wife are now living on opposite coasts of the country, as their divorce proceedings carried on.
During the spontaneous interview, Larry revealed he's now living with a new girlfriend, but didn't give away any details.
"I have moved on," Larry said. "I'm fortunate enough to say that I have met someone special. But I'll just leave it for that now."
"I've been here 9 months now," he continued. "The separation was a three-month trial period and we've moved on from that point. We're in divorce proceedings. That's been going on for the last six months. It's not finalized, I don't know when it will be. But that's where we're at."
But, we've finally caught a glimpse of Larry's mystery lady during the twosome's outing at the Bargain Hunt in Decatur, Alabama. They were seen up household essentials and looking at the store's furniture selection.
But, when the public finally caught a glance of his new girlfriend, later revealed to be 53-year-old Connie Stauddy, they couldn't help but notice that her platinum blond locks made her resemble Theresa herself!
Sources told TMZ that Larry and Stauddy looked "very much like a couple," as she frequently touched his back and shoulder, while he opened the door for her.
But What About Theresa?
Although Larry is now out gallivanting with his new partner, Theresa's had more pressing issues to take care of.
Just one week after Theresa officially filed for divorce, she had undergone knee surgery for a torn ACL.
Theresa told her fans that she became injured during a trip to Hawaii when a wave from the ocean crashed into her.
Luckily Theresa's operation was a success, and took to Instagram to update fans on how she's been doing.
"All done! Before and after knee surgery feeling not so bad 🤞ðŸ»#kneesurgery #longislandmedium," she captioned a gallery of photos of herself in the hospital.
We hope Theresa has a quick recovery, and eventually she meet a special someone too!
