One Tree Hill, described by one of its stars as "the little show that could," was an instant hit with viewers from the moment it premiered in 2003. Not only did it deliver a great plot, it also taught so many of us some deep lessons about life.
This past September 23, fans and stars of the hit show took to social media to share quotes and moments they loved about the drama to mark the 15th anniversary of its premiere.
While some fans were reminiscing, others wished for the show to come back. It wouldn't be the first time that fans have expressed the need for the show to return with more seasons.

Now, Lifetime has found a way to bring some of the stars of the show back together on the small screen.
The network recently announced its holiday movie lineup, and among the films is one called The Christmas Contract, which stars some One Tree Hill actors.
While it's not exactly what fans have been wishing for, at least we'll get the chance to see favorites like Hilarie Burton, Danneel Ackles, Robert Buckley, Tyler Hilton, and Antwon Tanner reunite for the project.
But that's not all the good news Lifetime had to share...
The network announced that there will be a One Tree Hill reunion special that is set to air right after the movie!
The aforementioned actors as well as Stephen Colletti will be coming together for the one-hour event titled Tis the Season: A One Tree Hill Cast Reunion.
Entertainment Weekly has some even more excited when they reported that we should expect a "few surprise special guests."
Of course, everyone is hoping that the lead actors, including Chad Michael Murray, Sophia Bush, Bethany Joy Lenz, James Lafferty and Paul Johansson will take time out of their busy schedules to make appearances.
Just a few months ago, Murray teased his Instagram followers by posting a couple of photos of his trip down memory lane to the town where the show was filmed.
"I returned to the place it all started," he wrote under one photo. "Feels like yesterday... Ok, maybe not. It feels like 15 years ago I walked this bridge for the 1st time. 😠I'm so humbled and grateful that so so so many of you went on the adventure along with us- and still do today. Much love to you friends!"
In another, he was pictured sitting in front of his One Tree Hill home. In the caption he wrote: "I spent many days on this porch pondering life's great enigmas... Once a Scott, always a Scott."
These photos had many fans wondering if the actor, who is also starring in another Christmas TV movie, The Wise Men, on the Hallmark Channel, was part of the reunion plans.
The Christmas Contract and the One Tree Hill reunion special, are just two out of the 23 holiday specials and movies Lifetime will air starting November 21.
