After months of speculation, Kylie Jenner finally came clean about her pregnancy... and the birth of her first child.
The youngest Kar-Jenner sibling was reported pregnant in September, but neither she nor her family have addressed the rumors. The father is Jenner's boyfriend, rapper Travis Scott, who she has been dating since April, following her split with long-time boyfriend, rapper Tyga.
Despite their silence, more and more evidence kept pointing to the fact that Kylie was indeed expecting a baby - from her baggy outfits, lack of public appearances, absence from the family's annual Christmas card to a crib delivery last month.
Then out of nowhere, the 20-year-old multi-millionaire put all the speculation to rest by sharing an Instagram post and an emotional 13-minute video chronicling her pregnancy and the birth of her daughter.
She apologized for all the secrecy and explained that she stayed out of the public eye because she wanted a "stress-free and healthy" pregnancy.
"Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering, and life changing experience I've had in my entire life and I'm actually going to miss it."
The new mom gave birth on February 1, but did not share the news with the world until Sunday, February 4.
However, she held off from revealing one important detail, until now: the baby's name.
In the days since Jenner announced the arrival of her new bundle of joy, fans have been trying to guess the newborn's name.
One of the theories that floated around had many fans believing that Jenner and Scott will name their daughter Mariposa, which is Spanish for "Butterfly."
Butterflies are of significance to both Jenner and Scott, they both have the insect tattooed on their bodies, Scott has a song with "butterfly" in its title, and Jenner has worn accessories with butterflies on them on numerous occasions.
But as it turns out, the rumors were just that, rumors.
Jenner took to Instagram once again to show off her new daughter, and finally reveal her name.
Drumroll... it's STORMI!
In true Kar-Jenner fashion, the baby's name is a bit unusual, but we're sure Jenner and Scott, whose real name is Jacques Webster, have a good reason for their choice.
Little Stormi Webster is just the newest addition to the Kar-Jenner clan. Jenner's sister, Kim Kardashian, and her husband, rapper Kanye West, welcomed her third child, Chicago, in January. She already had a daughter, North, and a son, Saint.
Another Kardashian sister, Khloe, is also expecting her first child with boyfriend, NBA player Tristan Thompson.
