High school is a little boring, it's okay to admit that.
Just ask Bradley Howard, a 17-year-old from Texas who could not stop chatting through his physics class.
"I like to talk a lot, and so my teacher kept emailing my dad about it," says Howard.
Brad's dad, also named Bradley, wasn't surprised to hear his son was causing some trouble.
"Brad likes to be the life of the party, which gets him in trouble from time to time," he said. "For some reason I said, 'Hey, if we get another call I'm going to show up in school and sit beside you in class."
Unfortunately for student Brad, another email came. And his dad made sure to follow through.
"Friday is my only day off, so my wife wakes me up and says, 'Brad, it's time for you to go to school.' I thought, Oh no, what have I done?" said Dad Brad.
"I was a bit nervous being there among the teenagers," said the dad. "Mentally I hadn't prepared to go into a situation like that."
As for student Brad, well let's just say his dad was an unexpected surprise.
"I didn't even notice him until after I had said hi to all of my friends, but I was super shocked," he said.
Dad Brad says the physics teacher was pretty happy about the silence from student Brad. But he hopes this won't have to be an every day thing.
"I pray it was a one-time thing," he said. "I don't think I'd ever do it again."
Do you love the way this dad handled the situation? I do!
