Thanksgiving is less than a week away, and as we prepare the decor for our house, think about what we are going to make and go out and do the shopping, we can't help but get excited.
Khloe Kardashian is giving her fans some inspiration for this holiday by revealing what is on the menu at her house this year.
"Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year? I am and I feel like I've been planning this out since last November, LOL," she wrote.
The avid cook and kitchen organizer is in charge of the Thanksgiving menu and you can bet everyone should be excited.
While she had a great lineup of dishes last year, she was worried about one thing in particular. On her menu last year, she revealed that she was nervous about making the stuffing.
"I've never made stuffing before but someone asked about it, which means now I have to make it!" the reality star wrote in an entry on her website titled "What I'm Afraid to Cook." She continues: "I just don't really get stuffing. I mean why would I eat wet, stale bread? LOL. All of the recipes I Googled have bacon in them though so, since I don't eat pork, I'm going to have to do some tweaks. So I don't know how it's going to turn out!"
So what does she have planned for this year?
Khloé, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, says she will be hosting Thanksgiving for the second year in a row in Cleveland, where Thompson plays for the Cavaliers.
"Last year was the first time I did it completely on my own and I was really proud of myself for accomplishing it all," Khloé posted on her site. "I did it! And seeing everybody go back for seconds made me even happier! It lets you know they really like the food."
Now that Kloe is on her own in Cleveland she admits to having to do everything on her own.
"I usually host Thanksgiving every year, but my sisters and my mom would bring a few dishes to help me out in the kitchen. But now being in Cleveland, I have to do everything on my own," she said.
The reality-star has a drool-worthy menu planned that includes, turkey, sweet potato souffle, wings, sweet creamed corn, greens with smoked turkey, mac and cheese, corn bread and gravy.
She of course has a delicious lineup of desserts planned including apple pie, pumpkin pie, cinnamon buns and cookies.
"I usually bake all of the desserts and breads the day before and then I cook the rest of the food the day of to have time for everything," said Kardashian.
"I love it and I'm really looking forward to doing it again this year," Kardashian says. "I hope you all have a beautiful day with the ones you love!
