Kate Hudson is in some hot water following an interview she gave for a cover story with Cosmopolitan.
The actress who will be appearing on the October cover, filled out a questionnaire as part of her feature story.
Answering questions like the Last Photo Taken On Your Phone, to Me Time Rituals, were pretty ordinary. However her response to the Laziest Thing I've Ever Done, rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.
Hudson married Chris Robinson, the front-man for The Black Crowes in December 2000. The couple divorced in 2006 and she started seeing Matt Bellamy of Muse. They ended their engagement in 2011 on good terms.
Hudson has two sons, 13-year-old Ryder who was born in 2004, and 6-year-old Bingham who was born in 2011.
Ryder was born by C-section, but she had a vaginal birth for Bingham.
When describing Ryder's birth in a previous interview, she said "I was going to get induced because the baby was so big. Then my hips weren't opening, and I wasn't dilating. I was in labour. My contractions were two to five minutes apart and I couldn't feel anything."
She added, "The doctor said I could go home, but it was such a pain in the butt to get to hospital because we were being stalked by photographers. We went in at midnight and I was like: "˜I am not going home. I just don't want to do this again. Let's just have a C-section.' And so I got drugged up."
So when the actress responded with "Have a C-Section" as the laziest thing she has ever done, fellow C-Section moms expressed their discontent.
@Fabletics was super excited to order when Kate Hudson said this about C-sections in @Cosmopolitan and now I won't be. Shame on you. pic.twitter.com/Rds7syIDDW

Having a C-Section is far from lazy, ok? pic.twitter.com/DcjmJbi6i0
According to the CDC, the operation accounts for 32 percent of all births in the United States, so as you can imagine people are pretty upset about her comments.
i used teo love #KateHudson, but I lost all respect for her. I have had 2 c sections out of necessity, so not lazy, took months to recover.

Some people came to her defense, saying it was her decision and her opinion, both of which is is entitled to have.
Her words don't mean all csections are lazy. Get over yourselves. Her choice. Her thoughts. Some ppl feel this way. Some don't. Both r ok.

Hudson has yet to respond to the criticism. How do you feel about her comments?
