Kim Kardashian dropped a major bomb on her reality TV show this weekend when she admitted that she was high on ecstasy during her wedding.
No, not that wedding.
No, not that wedding either.
Kim was referring to her first wedding in the year 2000, to music producer Damon Thomas when she was just 20 years old. The marriage lasted just four years, though admittedly that's longer than her second marriage to Kris Humphries, which lasted 72 days.
The topic came up during the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, when Kim's younger sister Kendall Jenner asked about the reality star's "wild" days. Kendall and Kim were chatting with the father of Kourtney Kardashian's kids, Scott Disick, when Jenner got curious.
"You went to Disney and you were all high or something "” or Six Flags," said Scott.
"I didn't know you got high," Kendall responded, clearly shocked by this revelation.
"I got married on ecstasy. The first time," Kim openly admitted. "I did ecstasy once and I got married. I did it again, I made a sex tape. Like, everything bad would happen."
"You were high on ecstasy when you made that sex tape?" Scott asked.
"Absolutely. Everyone knows it," Kim told them. "Like, my jaw was shaking the whole time."
The sex tape Kim made with her then-boyfriend Ray J is what launched the family into fame, so I don't know that she can really classify it as something bad. But Kim fully admits that her ecstasy days are long gone.
"I definitely went through a wild phase, I would say in my late teens," Kim said. "I'm not like that anymore. But I still have fun "” don't get it twisted, I'm always the life of the party."
It's interesting to hear Kim talk about her "wild" days, because she's spoke in the past about how she never really drank as a teen, and doesn't drink now. The mother-of-three opened up about how her father, famed O.J. Simpson lawyer Robert Kardashian, taught her how to drive when she was just 14 years old so that she could drive her sisters and friends if they were drunk.
"I felt this responsibility of driving everyone," Kim admitted. "And everyone would take advantage of me, and I would be the designated driver. And they would literally only have me hang out just to drive everyone home."
Khloe also commented on Kim's choice to stay away from alcohol.
"Kimberly does not drink alcohol whatsoever," Khloe said of her older sister. "Pregnant or not, she's just never been into it."
Though she's made some poor decisions in the past, they make a lot more sense now knowing that Kim Kardashian was on ecstasy for a couple of the biggest moments in her life.
