Kanye West made a fan's dying wish come true when he privately rapped her favorite song to her.
Often depicted in the media as aggravating, dramatic, and self-absorbed, West showed his softer side when he FaceTimed a young girl who was dying from cancer.
According to TMZ, when West heard the pre-teen's parents were trying to reach him, he didn't hesitate to give her a call.
The pair chatted on the phone, before West rapped her favorite, "I love Kanye" from his most recent album, Life of Pablo, for her.
Most surprising of all, the rapper wasn't the one who leaked the news of his secret encounter.
The only reason West's kind gesture was made public was when a girl named Debbie posted news of the phone call on Twitter.
"This girl in my town had cancer and Kanye called her a couple days ago to rap for her," Debbie wrote. "I think Kim was there too. Wasn't even blasted on social media or anything. She passed yesterday. I have so much respect for him tho. Making her happy in her last moments."

While details were limited, five days later, West's wife Kim Kardashian confirmed the meeting on her own Twitter account.
We are praying for her family. ðŸ™ðŸ½ https://t.co/pjEUhPboFb

Sadly, the young fan passed away hours after the pair's phone call.
Does West's kind gesture change your opinion of him?
