Do not underestimate Kaley Cuoco's social media sleuthing skills, as the newly-married star of The Big Bang Theory managed to spoil her own birthday party using Instagram.
Well, really, her co-star Jim Parsons should get most of the credit, for one particularly careless social media post.
On Friday, as Cuoco was turning 33, her cast-mates were waiting to surprise her on set with a pink cake covered in rainbow sprinkles.
But Parsons, who plays the annoyingly smart Sheldon on the sitcom, is not so bright in real life.
He shared an Instagram photo of the cake and plates before Cuoco arrived, and actually tagged the actress in the message, sending a notification to her phone.
"Almost time, @kaleycuoco," he wrote. "Shhhh."
Fans warned Parsons that Cuoco would definitely see the picture he shared, but it was too late to take back. Soon, Parsons shared another photo, with Cuoco holding up her phone to show she had, in fact, seen the picture.
And it looked like Cuoco was not impressed.
"Oops," Parsons wrote.
Fans were quick to point out the Parsons' mistake was just the sort of thing Sheldon would do, if Leonard had planned a surprise party for Penny on their show.
But if you're worried the mix-up spoiled Cuoco's big day, don't be. She replied "ON THE FLOOR," to Parsons' original photo, meaning that she was having a good laugh at his expense.
Sadly, the laughs will be over soon for the Big Bang Theory, as the show is set to end after its 12th season.
Cuoco does not know what the end of the popular series means for her future, but admits she's already getting emotional as filming wraps up.
"I think when we hit January, it's gonna start getting a little bit more real 'cause right now we still have a lot more season to go, but I have cried a lot of tears," she revealed to Entertainment Tonight.
"I mean, it's 12 years of my life, we've all had a lot of ups and downs in the last 12 years we're a very close group and, you know, we have a legacy of the show."
But don't feel too bad for the Cuoco and the rest of the cast, even if they'll be out of a job soon. The show's stars are some of the highest paid actors on TV, with Parsons earning $26.5 million a season and Cuoco bringing home $24.5 million.
