You may have been sitting in your living room watching the 2004 Super Bowl on TV, or you were out with friends at a bar, or you saw it online the next day, but you definitely saw Justin Timberlake tear off part of Janet Jackson's clothing at the end of the half-time performance, which exposed her breast.
Whether the incident, famously known as "Nipplegate", was faked or not, it sparked public debate. Soon after, CBS was fined more than half a million dollars and the FCC enacted a five-second broadcast delay during all live performances.
Jackson described the moment as "truly embarrassing". Rumors surrounding her ban from the Super Bowl started to circulate. However, these rumors were disproved by Timberlake, who said there is no ban.
Fast forward 13 years, Justin Timberlake has confirmed that he'll perform at the 2018 Super Bowl half-time show.
But not everyone is happy about this announcement.
"I'm a part of a community that consider themselves artists," Timberlake said to MTV's John Norris in 2006. "And if there's something that I could have done in her defense, that was more, that I could have realized, then I would have."
In light of recent sexual allegations and sexual humiliations in the entertainment industry, for instance the allegations against Harvey Weinstein, many have voiced their opinions on Twitter demanding justice for Jackson, despite Timberlake's former apology.
#JusticeForJanet went viral after Timberlake announced he'll be back at the Super Bowl.
Janet Jackson fans believe Timberlake should be held accountable for tarnishing Jackson's career, while his career was not impacted negatively.

Mike Tirico, host of "Football Night in America", boldly asked Timberlake if there would be another wardrobe malfunction.
"That won't happen this time," Timberlake said.

Some people think Justin Timberlake will ask Janet Jackson to perform alongside him as his guest. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
