A huge congratulations is in order for Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin, who have recently become engaged.
The surprise engagement between the "Sorry" singer and Stephen Baldwin's youngest daughter reportedly took place on July 7 at a resort in the Bahamas.
Sources connected to the couple told tabloid news website TMZ that Bieber, 24, popped the question in front of an elated crowd.
The affectionate couple weren't the only ones excited by the news, as their parents enthusiastically shared their pleasure on social media.
Stephen, 52, took to Twitter to share his excitement over his daughter's engagement.
"Sweet smile on my face! me&wife (Kennya) Always pray 4 Gods will !! He is moving in hearts of JB&HB," the now-deleted tweet read. "Let's all pray for His will to be done. Love you 2 so much !!!"
He followed up his tweet with the hashtags #Godstiming, #bestisyettocome, and tagging Bieber's parents Patti Mallette and Jeremy Bieber in the post. The devout Catholic ended it with writing #PraiseJesus and a bible verse.
"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless."
Bieber's parents also alluded to the proposal by expressing their delight on social media.
While Malette simply wrote "Love Love Love Love Love Love Love" on Twitter, his father dedicated an Instagram post to Bieber, writing that he was "proud" of the "Friends" crooner.
"@justinbieber Proud is an understatement! Excited for the next chapter!" Jeremy captioned the photo of his son posing in front of a sunset.
Although clear pictures of the engagement ring have yet to be captured, a fuzzy photo of the sparkler has been shared on Instagram, and it certainly is a huge sparkler placed in what looks like a yellow gold band.
The engagement may come as a shock for some, as Bieber was seen spending time with his other on-again, off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez in March after reconnecting following the actress' kidney transplant. Baldwin was linked to singer Shawn Mendes and even went to the Met Gala in May together.
However, an insider shared that the couple, who had previously dated from 2015 to 2016, had been close friends for "a long time."
"It's kind of a surprise, but kind of not. Justin has been extremely happy these past few weeks," the source told People. "He has known Hailey for a long time. This might seem sudden, but they know each other very well."
In a recent interview with U.K. newspaper The Times, Baldwin echoed the source's statement, adding that while they went through a long period of time where they didn't speak, they're now stronger than ever.
"Justin and I were friends for a long time," she said in the interview. "I met him when I was really young and he was one of my best friends. Everybody knows that at a certain point in time that turned into something else, but that just happens when you're 18, 19. It was what it was ... We didn't speak for quite some time and there was a lot of weirdness that went on ... we've moved past that."
Do you think Bieber and Baldwin's relationship will last?
