Julia Roberts is one of Hollywood's most beloved leading ladies. Not only is she a talented actress, she is also one of the most beautiful actresses in Tinseltown.
The Pretty Woman star has graced the cover of People magazine's World's Most Beautiful issue twice, and has made the list a record five times.
While women in the entertainment industry are under immense pressure to look a certain way, Roberts has embraced her natural features.
"I want to have some idea of what I'll look like before I start cleaning the slates," the Oscar-winner told Elle in a recent interview. "Your face tells a story and it shouldn't be a story about your drive to the doctor's office."
Instead of turning to plastic surgery and botox, Roberts has found a much easier and safer way to reinvent her look year after year - changing up her hairstyle.
Over the years, she has experimented with various cuts and texture, and color, from auburn to blonde, and she's managed to pull them all off perfectly.
Now, after years of rocking a deep blonde hair color, Roberts decided to go lighter with her locks and it looks amazing, of course.
The 50-year-old debuted her newly-lightened hair at an event for the Television Critics Association to promote her upcoming project, the Amazon Prime series Homecoming.
The actress hasn't revealed what inspired the change, but we definitely know that it isn't for her role on the series as she was recently spotted wearing a brunette wig.
What we do know is that Roberts' hair transformation was made possible by her stylist of 26 years, Serge Normant and his team.
She posted a several photos of herslef and Normant on Instagram, including one where he's in the middle of styling her hair. She captioned it, "My Mane Man. Hard at work. #26years."
This isn't the first time that Roberts, who often favored darker hair colors, has opted for a lighter shade. In 2014, she arrived at the 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards her platinum blonde locks. She also rocked blonde hair in the late 90s and mid-2000s.
This June, she also showed off her strawberry-blonde waves in her first ever Instagram photo, which has since garnered over 300,000 likes.
