It's been an intense weekend for Jenelle Evans (Eason) and her family, but if you ask her, everything is just fine. Just three days ago, it was revealed that Jenelle and her husband David Eason had police called to their house for a domestic assault.
Jenelle phoned 911 last weekend, claiming that David had attacked her and broken her collarbone.
"My name is Jenelle Eason, I am at 17 [redacted], and my husband assaulted me. He pinned me down on the ground [...] in the yard, and I think I heard my f*****g collarbone crack. I can't move my arm."
The operator then asked where David was, and Jenelle said he was in the house and had been drinking.
"I think that he got violent because he's drinking," Jenelle told the operator. "I'm recovering from a surgery I got on Monday[...] I have four kids at the house with me right now and they're all sleeping. I don't know what to do."
The surgery the reality star is referring to is sinus surgery she had recently. Jenelle is audibly upset during the entire call, and keeps apologizing for her crying. Police were dispatched to the house.
"Once they arrived, they advised [Jenelle] proper legal actions to take," the Columbus County chief said. "An ambulance was called and then cancelled because she said she was going to the ER in a private vehicle."
Almost immediately after the news of the assault broke, Jenelle's Twitter account disappeared. Her Instagram account, however, was still active. According to the Teen Mom star's rep, the assault wasn't an assault at all.
"[Jenelle] had friends over Saturday night and they had a bonfire on her property," the rep said. "Jenelle ended up tripping and falling by the fire."
The 911 call was released after the statement by Jenelle's rep, so now the reality star has released another statement of her own.
"It was a drunk and dramatic misunderstanding," Jenelle told E! News. "Everything is great...We are totally fine. We are feeling fine. Just taking time off social media...time to focus on ourselves and our family."
As for David, he hasn't released an official statement, but he has been posting about how happy he and Jenelle are.
In the pictures David has been posting, Jenelle doesn't appear to have any injuries. That being said, there's no way to tell when these photos were taken, and they easily could be from before the 911 call. One post, featuring David, Jenelle, and their daughter Ensley, is captioned "We've never been happier, thanks for asking!"
Another post features Jenelle, her mother Barbara, and her oldest son Jace at Jace's soccer game. "We are all so proud of Jace, he is a magnificent soccer player! I'm also very proud of Jenelle and Barb for working together and getting along so well!"
David has a history of violence, with domestic violence protective order against him from a previous relationship. He was arrested for violating in 2016.
Chelsea DeBoer, another one of the Teen Mom stars, tweeted about the incident.
"How was he not arrested?" she asked. "For some reason I thought they almost always had to take someone in when they are called to a domestic violence. Wow."
Kailyn Lowry has also been posting updates about the drama on her Twitter account, although she hasn't commented on it personally. She has been posting links to all the latest news articles relating to Jenelle's assault.
