Teen Mom 2 is like the drama gift that keeps on giving. Right now, we're following Javi Marroquin's issues after he cheated on his fiancee, who he shares a son with. Marroquin, who is on the show because of his marriage to Kailyn Lowry, has been a bit of a drama-maker, leaving Lowry only to date another cast member, Briana DeJesus.
Marroquin allegedly cheated on his fiancee, Lauren...in their house...while their son was asleep upstairs. Reports started that the couple got in a huge argument where the cops ended up being called. The couple had friends over on the weekend and that's when the cheating happened.
“Javi threw a party Saturday night with friends and gym members at their house,” a report The Ashley shared stated. “At some point, Lauren went upstairs to go to sleep. When Lauren came back downstairs, she found Javi and a woman naked.”
Friends that were there were seriously concerned that things between Marroquin and Lauren would turn physical because of how angry they were, and they ended up calling Marroquin's sister Lidia to come and get the baby.
“People in the house were afraid that the fight was about to get physical between Lauren and Javi or Lauren and [the other woman] and they wanted to get the baby out of there,” a source stated. “Lauren was absolutely enraged at Javi and the girl, because she considered her a friend.”
However, Marroquin called the cops because he refused to let his sister take their child. Lauren told Lidia and other members of his family what happened, which is when Lidia left.
Lauren hasn't publicly commented on this situation, although she has deleted a lot of pictures of her and Marroquin, as well as posting an image with herself and Eli captioned:
“To be a mother of a son is one of the most important things you can do to change the world. Raise them to respect women, raise them to stand up for others, raise them to be kind.”
Marroquin, on the other hand, has made a public apology and plea to Lauren on his Instagram page.
Lauren,I'm sorry for my mistakes, I'm sorry I broke your heart, I'm sorry I disrespected you. I'm sorry I took you for granted. I could say sorry for a million other things but I'm sorry will never be enough. I hurt the one person that I love the most. I will do everything in my power to become a better man and hopefully one day you can forgive me. I'll do anything to have you home.
To my boys, my big dawg and my handsome man,I failed you as a father and failed at my attempt to show you both what it is to be a man. I promise you both my actions will not reflect on how you treat women, let alone the one you love. I vow, from this day forward, I will be the example. I will no longer let any of my loved ones down. I know, when you both are older...I will be able to tell my story and say look at me now.
Lowry, who shares a son, Lincoln, with Marroquin, usually has a lot to say about this type of drama, but this time she's staying pretty tight-lipped.
“Even though I’ve said things in the past, it’s not my place to comment on their relationship or issues,” she told the magazine. “I wish him the best whether they’re together or not.”
As for DeJesus, she hasn't directly commented, but her sister Brittany has.
“I think I’m saying this ’cause my ass is bored at home with my bonnet on and I ain’t got s–t better to do [at the moment] … but, like, why [is] his s–t always public?” Brittany tweeted. "Do people not believe in having certain things about their lives private? Just ’cause we’re all on TV for a second doesn’t mean the world gotta know EVERYTHING. But what do I know? I’m just a ratchet who lives in a cardboard box with their momma and lives off MTV checks.”
Brittany isn't totally off-base. Marroquin is always in the headlines for some type of drama, and it seems like that kind of apology should be directed specifically with Lauren, not with the world.
