When my friend and her husband discovered they were expecting, they were overcome with joy about having a new addition to their family.
While raising children can be a wonderful experience, having more kids than you initially planned for can be a little bit daunting.
One father from Dallas, Texas knows this to be true, after his wife recorded his response when he discovered their fourth child is on the way.
"Did you get that from a joke store?"
In March, Jahann Stewart's video of her husband Charles' reaction to the news of her surprise pregnancy had gone viral, and it's the funniest thing you'll see all day.
In the clip, Jahann asks her husband to grab her tea for her, only to discover the positive pregnancy test she left on top of it.
His response is priceless as he marches downstairs, shouting, "I'm leaving!"
"Did you get that from a joke store?" Charles asked in the hilarious clip. "Babe, are you serious? Did you do this with a marker?"
"Babe, we're old. We can't be doing this," he added, grabbing his chest in astonishment.
"I'm not doing it anymore. I'm done. Don't ask me for nothing. I'm sleeping with long johns on from now on."
"This was definitely a surprise for all of us."
The couple, who have been married for 17 years, are already the parents of Jaylinn, 15, Charles, 10, and Journee, 6, and said that while they had no plans on expanding their family.
But Jahann knew her husband's reaction would be comedic gold.
"This was definitely a surprise for all of us," Jahann told TODAY Parents. "We haven't been on any type of birth control "” we were just doing what married couples do and here comes our surprise."
"My husband is a real laid back kind of guy," she continued. "When we face tough situations, he's always the one to calm me down with his humor. Laughter is his way of distracting me from worrying "” I love him for that."
Charles eventually came around to the idea of becoming a family of six, and believes the couple will still be able to accomplish all of their goals.
"My wife and I declared on New Year's Day that 2018 was going to be our year, so when I saw the pregnancy test, I blacked out," Charles joked.
"I thought it would be impossible to reach the goals we set, but now I think we can still do it. We just have to save a little more for diapers."
"Well, I'm old. My soldiers weren't marching anymore."
With more than 100 millions of views on Facebook, Ellen DeGeneres caught wind of their announcement, and invited Charles and Jahann to appear on her talk show.
When the comedian asked the couple if they were trying for another child, Charles was quick to dismiss it.
"Well, I'm old. My soldiers weren't marching anymore, so I had no idea I could do that," he said, adding he though his wife was getting back at him for a previous prank he had pulled.
Jahann admitted on air that since their youngest is six years old, they "had a garage sale and got rid of all kinds of stuff" and they'd need to buy all new baby supplies before the infant arrives in November.
Luckily, DeGerenes surprised the couple, and with the help of Shutterfly, surprised them with a check for $20,000 to help pay for their newest addition.
