We get it, okay? Nutella is delicious. And yes, FREE Nutella somehow tastes better.
But is hazelnut spread really worth going to jail over? No.
Just ask Derrick Gharabighi, a 24-year-old man who could face up to 11 years in prison because he got a little too heated about Nutella.
Derrick was at Costco, when he noticed they were giving out free samples of a Nutella waffle snack. He took more than is deemed acceptable to most people, and a 78-year-old man called Derrick out on his greediness.
Derrick punched the man in the face.

"He takes two, three of them, left one," victim Sahak Sahakian said. "I want to take that one, and he catch my hand. I say, "˜What are you doing? Let me eat this one.' He hit me, and the blood started."
Sahakian was taken to the hospital with a 1-inch cut over his eye.
"It's a shame that it had to come to this over a Nutella sample," said Burbank Police Department Sgt. Claudio Losacco. "It's a tragic situation where someone in their 70s, almost 80 years old, is faced with something like this."
Because this happened in California, there's a law that prosecutes assaults more harshly if the victim is over 70 years old.
Gharabighi is being held on $50,000 bail.
