At the end of February, Melrose Place star Heather Locklear was at her home when cops were called, after her brother came over and saw Heather and her boyfriend, Chris Heisser, in a physical altercation.
As law enforcement officials tried to take her into custody, Locklear became aggressive, and began flailing and kicking. She struck three deputies before being handcuffed and taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Locklear's daughter, Ava, and an "unknown male" were also in the house at the time of the incident, and were apparently "mortified" after "witnessing the whole thing."
There weren't a ton of details about Locklear's arrest at the time, but now we know what she said to police officers to prompt her arrest, and it's awful.
According to Locklear's sister, the only reason she got physical with her boyfriend was because he tried to "choke and kill her." The police report corroborated this, saying Heisser "was standing on the side of the bed leaning over Heather and holding her wrists while she was on the bed." Heisser was bleeding from the nose and had visible marks on his chest, as Locklear clearly tried to defend herself. Heisser said the actress bit his face while acting "crazy, angry, and wild."
Locklear admitted to starting the fight by throwing a Red Bull can at her boyfriend after he lied, but then he made it physical.
The worst part about the whole case were the comments that Locklear yelled at police as they tried to arrest her.
She charged at them, grabbed them, and kicked an officer in the shin.
"Get out of my f****** house!"
Locklear was eventually taken outside and pinned against her car, which is when the comments got really vile.
"You f****** deserve your kids to die! You f****** deserve it! And when you find yourself in that position, think of me! I hope no one f****** burns your entire department down, you f******* police department ."
Locklear then said something that triggered a search warrant on her property.
Cops were still trying to contain Lockeler when she gave them cause for a search warrant.
"Get the f*** off my property. Don't ever come on it. All of you are not allowed ... I will shoot you if you come on my property and take that as a threat and f****** put another count against me."
Cops then got Locklear pinned to the ground, and had to put a hobble on her to prevent the actress from kicking them anymore.
Days after she was arrested, police went through Locklear's home to search for a gun, as well as "ammunition, holsters, paraphernalia related to firearms, prescription bottles, diaries, clothing, mail and various other items." They were also looking for drugs, as Locklear had previously been reported as suicidal in 2012 with a history of drugs.
The cops did not find a weapon in the house, even though Locklear has a .38 Smith and Wesson revolver registered in her name.
After the arrest, Locklear was checked into a treatment facility. Her daughter Ava is apparently the one who convinced Locklear to seek help.
"Ava begged her mom to go to rehab," source told ET. "After Heather finally agreed, Ava went away with her father to get a break from it all."
Locklear has not released a statement on the incident, and neither has Heisser.
