<div><p>It's been a few years since Frozen was on everyone's mind, but when John Kucko came home to find his house looking like Elsa's Ice Palace he probably hummed a few bars of Let It Go.</p><p>The New York photographer drove up to his beach home in Webster, New York and found a startling sight. His beloved getaway home completely encased in 7 inches of ice.</p><p>The home is located on the shores of Lake Ontario, and Kucko speculates that the waves from the lake were splashing up and freezing his home solid.</p><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p>He says his house is the only one on the shore that doesn't have a retaining wall, making the water and wind more likely to coat his home.</p><p>He might want to think about investing in one.</p><p>He posted a 30-second video on his <a href="https://www.facebook.com/JohnKuckoDigital/videos/1853260368277844/">Facebook page</a> showing just how frozen his house had become.</p><div><amp-facebook data-href="https://www.facebook.com/JohnKuckoDigital/videos/1853260368277844" layout="responsive" height="600" width="640"></amp-facebook></div><p>"30 seconds of absolutely frigid Lake Ontario shoreline. Some parts look apocalyptic up there. The violent wind we've had the last five days has taken a toll," he wrote.</p><p>As chilling as the image of his house were, it's apparently not uncommon in the area. </p><div><amp-twitter height="472" width="375" layout="responsive" data-tweetid="841024841700528131"></amp-twitter></div><p>Sea spray from lakes splashes up and freezes to the colder objects that it touches. I guess lake front property isn't all it's cracked up to be. </p></div>
