It seems like as soon as anyone gets married, they immediately are bombarded with questions about when they plan on having children. That pressure is hundreds of times more intense when you are a member of the royal family.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have only been married two months, and people are already trying to figure out when they plan on expanding their family. But luckily, the newlyweds are being very sweet about it.
Harry and Meagan have been in Ireland for the past few days, and while meeting a group of people the questions quickly turned to family planning.
One woman used her own experiences as a mother to try and hint that the couple should get started on their family, saying, "My husband also has red hair and he gave me five children - when are you and Meghan going to get going?"
Harry took the comment in stride though, making a joke to brush it off. "Five children? - Too many."
But the rest of the day was spent goofing around with their fans, specifically with a child who was particularly enamored with Meghan.
After stroking her hair, he blew a kiss at the Duchess, and Harry played along as he tugged on his beard.
The couple obviously loves children, and while Harry seems to think five is "too many," they have mentioned that they do plan on having some kids in their future.
In the interview after their engagement, they revealed that they want a family in the "near future."
"Of course. You know, one step at a time. Hopefully we'll start a family in the near future."
Meghan has a few more things on her to-do list before she will be ready to think about having some kids though. In 2016 she said, "I want to travel more and I can't wait to start a family, but in due time."
Now that she's a member of the royal family she is getting to travel all over the world, so it probably won't be too long before they bring their own little royal baby into the world!
I'm sure George, Charlotte, and Louis would be the best cousins ever!
