The teenager once deemed "The World's Hairiest Girl" has shaved the hair off her face in order to wed the "love of her life."
Supatra Sasuphan, otherwise known as "Natty" has been showing pictures of her clean-shaven face on a variety of social media platforms, along with her newlywed husband.
The 17-year-old from Bangkok, Thailand suffers from a rare, genetic condition called Ambras Syndrome, which has been popularly nicknamed as Werewolf Syndrome.
The disease is a form of hypertrichosis which causes excessive hair growth, not including the palms of the hand and soles of the feet. According to the Mirror, the condition is said to have only affected 50 individuals since the middle ages.
Despite undergoing laser hair removal treatments as a child, Natty's hair has continued to grow back, leading her to be at peace with her condition.
She told the Guinness World Records in 2010: "It does sometimes make it difficult to see when it gets long. I hope I will be cured one day."
However, Natty changed her perspective when she met her unnamed husband.
Following her recent nuptials, Natty has began to shave her face and body, her father, Samrerng said.
Luckily, Natty appears to have found happiness with her beau and posted online: "You're not just my first love, you're the love of my life."
Growing up, the youngster was often called Wolf Girl and Chewbacca by her classmates at school, she said she's always had the support from her friends and family.
While Natty's story has a happy ending, before the condition was recognized, sufferers were cruelly called "werewolves," and may still be shunned by their communities, to this day.
"There were a few people who used to tease me and call me monkey face but they don't do it any more," Natty told the Guinness World Records. "I'm very used to this condition. I can't feel the hair as it has always been like this. I don't feel anything."
"I don't feel any different to anyone else, and I've got lots of friends at school... Being hairy makes me special," she added.
What would you do if you suffered from Natty's condition?
