Move over Jenelle Evans there is a new mom in town and her name is Jade Cline. After MTV confirmed that they would no longer be working with Jenelle Evans many wondered who would MTV hire to replace this OG teen mom.

But I am here to tell you the wait is finally over because MTV just announced their newest addition to the show.  They waited to make this announcement on the Teen Mom 2 reunion episode, of course, and on this special episode they announced that (drum roll please) Jade Cline would be joining the cast of Teen Mom 2.  

You may recognize the name Jade Cline because she was previously a member of MTV’s spinoff series Teen Mom: Young + Pregnant. When Jade was on Teen Mom: Young + Pregnant she was getting ready to welcome her new daughter Kloie but now little Kloie is 1 years old and ready to take on reality tv.

Her mom, Jade Cline, on the other hand was a little nervous to step into Jenelle Evans’ spotlight. After, the reunion episode Jade made an appearance on Kailyn Lowry and Lindsie Chrisley’s podcast Coffee Convos, along with Teen Mom cast members Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra. On the podcast she claimed that she was more nervous than excited to join the cast of Teen Mom 2. Jade stated that “the show’s been on so long that I can’t believe they would want me on a show that’s been on for like 10 years with these same people for so long.”

Although Kailyn is more than happy to have Jade on the show she did admit that she shared similar feelings to Jade’s. Kailyn explained, “I had those same thoughts. Not against you, but I was like, ‘It’s not broken, so don’t fix it.” Jade agreed by stating, “That was my same thought ….I don’t want to step on people’s toes, I don’t like that.”

I am personally excited to see how the show will be like now that Jenelle is gone. One thing for sure it will definitely be drama filled. As Jade describes, “In my new season, both of my parents were just incarcerated,” Jade explains. “they were filming me and I sat on the phone and I broke down in the car and I was like, I just want my mommy back. I want my mommy”.

After a description like that I am sure this season will be just as entertaining as previous ones. Will you tune in now that Jenelle is gone?
