The popularity of memes and Emojis has drastically changed the way we communicate and it's really hard to imagine a world without them. </p><p>We now have access to thousands of these small symbols that convey more than just a basic smile or thumbs up and help us clarify the meaning of every text we send. </p><p>Emoji's have come a long way since they were first launched. They are currently are more realistic and inclusive, with variations in skin tone and gender. </p><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p>Last week, Unicode announced that more awesome emojis on the way and they've released a sneak peek of the beta version to get us excited for the June 30th release. </p><div><amp-twitter height="472" width="375" layout="responsive" data-tweetid="844608442719354880"></amp-twitter></div><p>The 69 new emojis are part of the Emoji 5.0 update and will include a breastfeeding woman, a mermaid, a merman, raised eyebrow and starstruck faces, a genie, a giraffe, Dracula, a woman wearing a headscarf, a T-Rex, vomiting face, shushing face, a pretzel, a fortune cookie, pie and more! </p><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p>Before you get a bit too excited, you should know that these aren't the finalized list of emojis. They are subject to change before the release date but chances of that happening are very slim.
