What started out as a fun family outing for Candace Cameron Bure took a scary turn when she had to be taken to a hospital after sustaining some serious injuries.
The actress revealed via Instagram that her brother Kirk Cameron "tried to cut her off and take lead," but ended up running her over with a go-kart.
"Our fun family day ended up with me in the emergency room," Cameron Bure explained. "They got my rings off and that was one of the most painful things I've ever experienced."
Along with a photo of her bloody hand injury, Bure reassured fans that she has been released from the hospital and is "clearly fine."
However, the Fuller House star said that she sustained "some damage" to her hand and shoulder, but she's lucky they're not broken.
"I'm fine! I'm just really bruised, which is amazing to me," she said. "I'm honestly shocked there's nothing broken. It's all good, I'm good."
In a video uploaded to her Instagram story, Bure admitted that since the adrenaline had worn off, she's been feeling the pain more. "It hurts," she confessed.
The former The View co-host also posted a photo of her mangled wedding rings that she had on when the accident occured, saying that they "used to be perfectly round rings until they caught the underside of the go-kart as it drove on top of me."
She added that "getting them off was excruciating," but she's glad they were able to eventually come off without being cut.
Prior to the mishap, the tight-knit Cameron siblings all got together and posed for a photograph at their parents' house.
"Getting some good ol' fashioned family time in with my brother and sisters," Cameron Bure captioned the photo.
