When Melania Trump became the First Lady of the United States, her life changed forever.
While the former model had been in the spotlight before her husband became president, Melania now receives more media attention than she had in the past decades combined.
Even though she's been in the White House for nearly two years, the public is still fascinated by her every move.
While the 48-year-old has been met with both supporters and critics, she's nowhere near as vocal as Donald Trump, she's had a few scarce interviews where she expressed her own views and opinions on topics such as education, immigration, and politics.
However, on October 12, ABC will air a rare interview titled "Being Melania - The First Lady," which has been dubbed her "first sit-down since becoming First Lady of the United States."
Interviewed by ABC News' World News Tonight anchor and Chief National Affairs Correspondent Tom Llamas, the mother-of-one will be opening up about some of society's most talked about subjects.
"I support the women and they need to be heard."
Llamas accompanied Melania on her first solo trip to Africa in what is believed to be in an effort to ease the tensions between the United States and the African nations after her husband allegedly referred to some of its regions as "s"”hole countries."
"She will spend time with schoolchildren, visit hospitals and do some of the things that tourists do while they are in Africa," Katie Rogers reported in The New York Times. "Why Africa? The White House says she has never been before and has long wanted this to be the destination for her first solo trip."
In the trailer of the interview posted on ABC News' Twitter page, Llamas stated, "You did agree to this interview, to your credit, with no preconditions, knowing that there could be some tough questions asked."
In a series of tough questions seen in the snippet that aired on October 10's Good Morning America, Llamas asks the First Lady about serious topics on the #MeToo movement, sexual misconduct, and allegations against her husband.
"I support the women and they need to be heard. We need to support them and also men, not just women," Melania responds.
However, when asked if men are unfairly treated when publicly accused of sexual misconduct, she said, "We need to have really hard evidence that you know, that if you are accused of something, show the evidence."
But that isn't the only juicy part.
In the clip, Llamas also touches upon Donald's rumored infidelities, her infamous "I Really Don't Care, Do You?" jacket, and the biggest misconception the public has about her.
Hopefully this interview will give us an inside look at Melania's life we've all been craving for!
