<div><p>While families across the nation were celebrating Easter on Sunday, one Ohio family was mourning the senseless death of Robert Godwin Sr. </p><p>74-year-old Godwin was allegedly shot to death by Steven Stephens, 37, who filmed and posted the entire incident on Facebook in a video titled <em>Easter day slaughter</em>.</p><p>The killer left the scene of the crime immediately and posted a series of videos on his Facebook page in which he claimed to have already killed 12 people and he was not going to stop.</p><p>Stephens had been the subject of a multi-state manhunt and police announced a $50,000 reward for information leading to his arrest. But things took an expected turn earlier today, nearly two days after the shocking shooting, Stephen was found dead of apparent suicide. </p><div><figure><amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/04/stevie-steve-3-e1492373532802.jpg" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img><figcaption class="op-vertical-center">Steve Stephens</figcaption></figure></div><p>Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson confirmed the news in a press conference this afternoon, "We have closure in regards to the search for Steve Stephens."</p><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p>"This particular incident received a lot of attention and rightfully so, because it was a loss of an innocent victim. We however have many, many homicides, not only in Cleveland, but throughout this nation," he added. </p><p>Godwin's children told <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2017/04/17/us/cleveland-facebook-homicide-video/?sr=fbCNN041717cleveland-facebook-homicide-video0319PMVODtop">CNN</a> that their father was on his way home after a family Easter meal when he was killed.
