Several years back the Christmas tradition of "Elf on the Shelf" hit the mainstream. Parents everywhere were picking up this little elf in order to spread some Christmas cheer and mystery throughout their house for their children. Parents pride themselves on getting as creative as possible when it comes to setting this little guy down, the more "magical" the better, as their kids would expect nothing less.
As can be expected, as the years went by and more and more ideas were used, people started to get a little "too" creative with their elves, getting a little more inappropriate with their ideas.
If you are ever in need of a way to shock your guests, or you want to play a bit of a prank on your kids, here are several ways you can set up your joyful elf for maximum shock value.
Nothing like making your kids think that the innocent elf is robbing them of their life savings.
A good lesson in why not to get involved with illegal drugs.
Not only will they have questions about their elf, but your kids will start to question the validity of their favorite super hero.
This one is sure to have you answering questions you wish you didn't have to.
Now this one is just plain funny.
Poor Rudolph is going to taste delicious once he has been cleaned and roasted over an open fire.
Those little cookies aren't so appetizing anymore.
And it doesn't necessarily need to be food related.
So much for having Christmas spirit.
Just blame it on the elf.
If you don't want to go with the wildly inappropriate versions, you can always just go for cute and creative...
Time for a little relaxation.
Kids are always wishing that they were taller than they are. Why not give them a little hope?
Someone got a little thirsty in the middle of the night.
The kids will be questioning what they ever did to piss the elf off?
Again, you can get away with a lot more when you have the ability to blame it on an imaginary creature.
