Mom Blasted For Telling Other Parents To "Take Some Pride" In Their Looks

When you drop your little one off at school in the morning, the way you look should be the last thing on your mind.

Those long lines of cars full are notoriously hectic, and there are always kids running around nearby. So following directions and driving safely are the most important things.

Of course, plenty of parents are driving to their jobs after seeing their children to class, but if they're just heading home afterwards no one would judge them for driving to school in sweatpants or pajamas.

No one, that is, except an anonymous woman whose snarky post about other parents is going viral.

The mother shared a message to her fellow parents that obviously ruffled their feathers, because by the time her post was shared on Facebook's Sanctimommy page, she had already apologized to her "haters" in an update.

Here's the message that riled up parents everywhere:

Ladies, even if you aren't getting out of the car at drop off can you please try a little. I look around as I'm walking my daughter to the front door and all we see is rat nest hair, no makeup, eyebags out to wherever and I'm not [perfect] but I think I smell morning breath coming from these cars.

Damn. My daughter said to me, "Mommy you are so pretty, my friend's mommies all look so old. I'm proud of you and that you are my mommie."

On the real, if my seven-year-old can see you aren't even trying what is your husband thinking? Take some pride.

On Sanctimommy's page, other parents were quick to give the unnamed mom a piece of their minds.

"I already have a husband," one commenter joked, "why would I risk getting another one? I don't need two!"

"Look I'm the mom that's just hoping my kid doesn't drag trash out of the back floor board as he gets out," wrote another.

And many more people took issue with the mom's unusually intelligent little girl, and her insightful comments.

"Today my four-year-old asked me, 'Mommy, why do people go online and lie about things their child said? Don't they realize children do not speak in the complex structure they believe?'" wrote one woman.

"I was so proud of him."

Everyone seems to agree that judging tired parents taking their kids to school first thing in the morning this harshly is just plain mean.

If a mom dropping her three tikes off is most comfortable with messy hair, pajamas, and Crocs, then I say more power to her.

As someone once said, "Mind your business and you won't have time to be fooling around in mine!"
