It's a sad day for Price is Right host Drew Carey, as he announced his split from fiance Dr. Amie Harwick.
Carey, 60, announced his engagement to Harwick, 40, a therapist and author, back in February, and had nothing but nice things to say about her at the time.
The game show host even captioned an Instagram photo of himself with Harwick, "Face of a lottery winner (L)."
The couple reportedly met at a house party last summer and quickly fell head over heels in love with each other.
The news of their engagement was also a surprising change for Carey, who has been a longtime bachelor.
He was previously engaged to chef Nicole Jaracz in 2012, and his relationship with her was still important to Carey years later.
During their five years as a couple, Carey became very close with Jaracz's son, Connor, and was still calling the boy his "son" during his engagement to Harwick.
"He and Nicole still have a great deal of love and affection for one another. He will still be very involved with their son's life," Carey's publicist said in 2012.
Carey also credited Connor with inspiring his 80-pound weight loss in 2010.
"I couldn't keep up with him," he told Parade. "I'd be like, 'Connor, I can't,' and he'd say, 'C'mon, Dad!' That was a terrible feeling. I thought, 'I'm never going to see him graduate high school."
