Donny Osmond is laughing about it now, but the accident he got into during a severe snow storm on Martin Luther King Day was actually quite scary.
The inclement weather made for terrible driving conditions that resulted in 234 crashes in Utah, including the one involving the longtime entertainer.
Osmond took to Twitter to let his fans know that he "hit a tree" while commuting during the snowy weather.
"It's snowing like crazy here in #Utah, and guess who decided to hit a tree?" Osmond wrote.
While Osmond's vehicle took a big hit, he reassured his followers that he escaped unscathed.
"Luckily no one was hurt," he wrote in the caption, adding, "Jackie at Martin's Collision said she will help me out. Thanks Jackie! #mlkday2019"
Unfortunately for Osmond, the new year hasn't been kind to him so far.
Just a few weeks before the recent incident, the 61-year-old had to undergo shoulder surgery after suffering an injury while dancing.
"Turns out dancing accidents aren't so convenient after all," he captioned a photo of himself with his right arm in a sling.
"I'm home after a successful shoulder surgery and settling in for some serious #RestandRecovery. My only complaint about the day: my doctor gave me the cold shoulder," added Osmond, who often tries to see the humor through the dark.
Osmond did not detail the circumstances that led to his injury, but the Osmond Brothers alum had been starring alongside his sister, Marie, in their long-running Las Vegas show Donny & Marie.
Osmond is also rumored to be the performer behind the peacock disguise on The Masked Singer, Fox's new celebrity singing competition.
Fans of the show are convinced that the former child star is the man in the costume not only because of the obvious hints, but also because his sister seemed to give it away in a recent interview.
The news of Osmond's accident and surgery comes shortly after his youngest brother, Jimmy, suffered a stroke while performing onstafe in a production of Peter Pan in Birmingham, England.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers on behalf of my little brother, Jimmy. I love you, brother. pic.twitter.com/hXozXy6SuG
