Donald Trump may now be living in one of America's most famous houses, but his beginnings were much humbler.
The current President of the United States grew up in Queens, New York, where his family owned a Tudor-style home in Jamaica Estates.
Unlike many of the properties in his real estate portfolio, Trump's childhood home at 85-15 Warhem Place is much more modest and features no gold accents.
The family moved out of the property and into a larger home in the same area when he was four years old, and the home has since had several owners.
However, after Trump's bid for presidency and subsequent win, the house became just as popular as its former occupant. At one point, it was briefly listed on the property rental site Airbnb for $600 a night.
Now, two years after it was last sold, the house is once again back in the market. If you're hoping to own a piece of American history, the home has an asking price of $2.9 million, which is over $2 million more than the value of the neighboring homes.
The home, which was built in 1940 by Trump's father, Fred, is now decked out with all sorts of Trump memorabilia, including photos and a life-sized cutout of the president.
The 3,600-square-foot property comes with five bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, a finished basement, and a two-car garage.
Unlike today's open concept homes, the living room, dining room, and kitchen in Trump's former home are connected by arched doorways.
The kitchen cabinets, wood-paneled walls and tiled floors give away the home's true age.
The living room is furnished with a fireplace and hardwood floors.
The modest brick and stucco house also features a wood-paneled library/study.
Paramount Realty USA has not disclosed which bedroom belonged to Trump, but it probably was one of the smaller rooms since he was the fourth of five children.
The property also boasts an enclosed patio which is connected to both the kitchen and the study.
As the property's popularity continues to rise, there's no doubt that a suitable buyer will come along very soon. Even Trump himself joked about still being interesting in the home while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2016.
"I wanna buy it, it's beautiful," he said at the time.
