After trying a S'mores mug cake a few months ago, I've been hooked on mug cake recipes!

All you need are a few simple ingredients, a mug, a microwave, and five minutes of your time.

Choose your favorite desserts from the options below and enjoy these tasty and easy-to-make treats!

1. Brownie

I don't know about you, but there's nothing more satisfying than making your favorite desserts.

Not many people have the time to bake their favorite treats every day, but you will after learning this easy-peasy brownie recipe from Gemma Stafford!

All you need are a few basic ingredients you already have at your home!

Combine 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, brown sugar, cocoa powder, canola or coconut oil, and water in a mug. Also add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 2 teaspoons of chocolate chips.

Mix these ingredients in a mug and then put it in a microwave for about one minute, then let it cool for five.

2. Chocolate Chip Cookie

Do you need a homemade fluffy chocolate chip cookie to make all your troubles go away?

This simple recipe by The Comfort of Cooking makes the mouthwatering dessert in only minutes!

First, microwave 1 tablespoon of butter. Then, add 1 tablespoon of brown and white sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.

Combine these ingredients before mixing in one egg yolk. Once you can't see any traces of the yolk, add 3 tablespoons of flour, then add the chocolate chips.

Microwave these ingredients for 40-60 seconds and serve with the ice cream of your choice.

3. Chocolate Cake

If you've tried to make a chocolate mug cake before, and it just didn't taste quite right, this recipe by Table for Two is the one you should try.

To create a moist mug cake, all you need is a few ingredients you already have in your home.

Combine 1/4 cup of flour, 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and 1/8 teaspoon of salt together. Mix these dry ingredients before adding in a little over 1/4 cup of milk and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.

Make sure the batter is not clumpy and then pour this mixture in a mug (recommended 14 ounces).

Now you can add mini chocolate chips or hazelnut chocolate spread on top.

Microwave for one minute and a few seconds more until it's cooked.

4. Apple Crisp

Ready for the best single-serving apple crisp of your life?

Ricardo Cuisine's apple crisp in a mug recipe isn't given 5 stars for no reason!

In a mug, add a diced medium apple with 2 teaspoons of brown sugar.

In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of rolled oats, 1 teaspoon of brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of flour.

Then, add 1 teaspoon of softened butter until the texture is crumbly. Once that's done, add this mixture over the sugared apples and cook in the microwave for a minute or a minute and a half, until you can see some bubbling.

5. Pumpkin

Fall is the perfect time to make use of all those cheap, fresh pumpkins at grocery stores.

Bigger Bolder Baking has this delicious egg-free recipe that I'm currently obsessed with!

In a mug, combine 4 tablespoons of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice, 1/8 teaspoon of baking powder, and a pinch of salt.

Add 2 tablespoons of maple syrup and milk, then 1 1/2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree.

Stir until everything is mixed and microwave for one minute.

6. Cookies n' Cream

If you love Oreos and have a pack of them at home, you'll definitely want to try this Cookies n' Cream mug cake recipe by Kirbie Cravings.

What's great about this particular creation is that you don't need a lot of ingredients.

Add 4 tablespoons of flour, 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of vegetable oil to the mixture.

Add mashed Oreo chunks into the battle, and microwave for about one minute. Viola! Your masterpiece is ready!

7. Cinnamon Roll

Cinnamon roll mug cakes are not the easiest to make, and likely won't come out looking similar to the rolls you bake in your oven, but with a little practice, it might eventually.

Kim's Cravings has a delicious easy-to-follow mug cake recipe that tastes amazing, and I know you'll love it too!

In a mug, add some cooking spray to prevent all the goodies from sticking to the mug, and then combine 1/4 cup of pancake mix (or flour, but I prefer pancake mix), 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder, 2 tablespoons of milk, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil.

Make sure the batter is thick, but not dry.

On top of the batter, sprinkle 1 teaspoon of brown sugar and 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon. Using a knife, swirl this mix on top of the batter to add that roll effect.

Microwave for one minute or a little bit more and you're all set!

8. Fruit Cake

For a more healthy alternative, make a regular vanilla mug cake and add the fruit of your choosing on top.

Mix 4 tablespoons of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, 3 tablespoons of sugar, 1/2 tablespoon of softened butter, 4 tablespoons of milk, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.

9. Oatmeal Nutella Cake

The perfect breakfast starts with an oatmeal Nutella mug cake. If you've tried this before, then you know why it's so perfect.

I'm obsessed with Kitchn's recipe because the mixture doesn't get stiff as a board.
