Arrow actress Katie Cassidy surprised her fans last June when she announced that wedding bells were in her future following her engagement to Matthew Rodgers.
"I can't wait to spend forever with you my darling!!" she wrote on Instagram. "I'm the luckiest girl in the whole world. I [heart emoji] YOU to the moon and back @mattyice432. Thank you for a magical evening I will forever remember."
It's unclear how the couple, who are known to maintain a low profile, met, but they were first photographed together while vacationing in Miami back in December 2016. Although Rodgers did share an Instagram photo of them together just a month earlier.
The pair had been busy planning their nuptials ever since, and were finally able to say "I do" over the past weekend.
The 32-year-old actress has been teasing her social media followers in the days leading up to the wedding by posting photos of what appears to be the venue and part of her dress.
"Time to celebrate," she wrote in the caption.
On December 9, Cassidy confirmed that she is now a married woman by sharing a photo from her wedding day.
The actress and Rodgers reportedly tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in Sunset Key, Florida.
"I can't help falling in love with you ... YES!" she wrote. "It's official! #MrsRodgers I love you my husband."
In the photo, Cassidy shows off her beautiful lace long-sleeved dress while kissing her new husband, who also wore white for the special occasion.
Cassidy is the only daughter of the late Partridge Family star David Cassidy, who passed away last November.
The Flash star and her father had a very complicated relationship. Although he remained a part of her life, she was raised by her mother former model Sherry Williams and her stepfather, Richard Benedon.
The father-daughter pair did lose contact at one point, but were able to eventually reunite.
"To be able to go to someone I'm genetically linked to, tell them anything and know that they're not going to judge me "” it's unbelievable," Cassidy said in an interview. "It's nice when your dad can be your friend."
Despite their row in the past and Cassidy's exclusion from David's final will, she was by her father's side when he took his final breath.
"Words cant express the solace our family's received from all the love & support during this trying time," Katie wrote. "My father's last words were 'So much wasted time'. This will be a daily reminder for me to share my gratitude with those I love as to never waste."
