Joining the cast of the the 20th season of Dancing with the Stars is the best thing to happen to Shark Tank star Robert Herjavec.
The businessman was paired with professional dancer Kym Johnson, and they instantly bonded over their love of dancing, and their previous heartbreaks.
Kym, 41, was previously engaged to Australian cricket player Shane Watson, but never made it down the aisle.
As for Robert, 56, he was previously married to Diane Plese, an optometrist, for 24 years before calling it quits.
"Human relationships are so difficult ... I wish nothing but love and peace for our family as we move forward from this," Robert said in a statement to TMZ after his divorce was finalized.
The multi-millionaire started dating another woman, Danielle Vasinova, but that relationship ended very quickly after she decided to sue him over claims of sexual battery and domestic violence.
"Mr. Herjavec is deeply offended by the accusations as they do not reflect his attitude towards women, professionally or privately," read a statement provided to The NY Daily News on behalf of Robert. "Mr. Herjavec's character has always been one of respect and it is undeniable that his actions have always reflected that."
At one point, things became a little bit too much for Robert. Not only was he alone, but his kids refused to talk to him.
One night, he stood on the balcony of his Toronto hotel room and contemplated suicide.
"I just wanted to end it. It's been a terribly difficult year," Robert said referring to his divorce. "We were great parents and a great team, but over time we drifted apart."
"Everyone has their kryptonite," he added. "For me, it was my kids. It took me to a place I never thought I would go."
Thankfully, he came to his senses and decided to seek help by reaching out to his pastor, John McAuley.
He was on the track to get his life back together when he was offered a spot on the reality dance competition.
During the rehearsals that Robert and Kym fell in love with each other.
"When I met Kym, I felt complete. I'm so excited about everything we have to look forward to," Herjavec told People.
He added, I never thought I'd get married again. I worried I'd become bitter or an old cat guy. But at the end of the day everybody wants to connect to another human being. When I met Kym, it was just effortless."
After they were eliminated in week eight, the couple officially started dating. They eventually got engaged, then got married in the summer of 2016.
The wedding guest list included their families as well as some of Kym's fellow DWTS pros and former celebrity contestants like Joey Fatone, Donny Osmond, and Lance Bass.
Kym's fellow Australian and Grease star Olivia Newton John surprised the bride with a performance at the reception.
Shortly after celebrating their first wedding anniversary, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child.
Last December, Kym took to Instagram to share the exciting news. She shared an adorable photo of an ultrasound featuring a fetus giving a thumbs up.
""˜It's a thumbs up" ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ¤°ðŸ’•,'" Kym wrote in the caption.
"Being pregnant is such a special experience and I'm truly so excited to be a Mum!" Kym later wrote on her website. "It's just so great to see how your body takes over and changes everyday. My advice to any mum-to-be is to stay positive and as stress-free as possible."
She added, "I'm so grateful to everyone for their love and support"”especially my husband, Robert! I can't wait for this new chapter in our lives."
In the months that followed, the expecting parents revealed that they will be welcoming twins.
Then after a two-in-one baby shower and gender reveal party Queer Eye For the Straight Guy alum Carson Kressley threw for Kym and Robert, the world finally learned the sexes of the "miracle" babies.
"We're so excited to finally share with everyone that we are having a boy and a girl," the expectant mother wrote in the caption of an Instagram video featuring the pink and blue balloon and confetti-filled reveal.
Now, less than a month since the big reveal, Kym and Robert's twins have finally arrived.
The couple welcomed their "little angels" on Monday, April 23, and the first-time mom once again took to social media to share the special news.
"I never thought my heart could feel so full. We're so in love with our little angels. Born at 7.44am and 7.45am 4/23/18," the dancer wrote in the caption.
Robert also shared the same black-and-white photo on Instagram with the caption: "So in love with our little angels."
Although he is already a father of three to daughters Caprice and Skye and son Brendan, Robert is still "excited" about being a dad again.
"Robert is so excited for the babies and has been a really supportive husband," a source close to the couple shared with E! News. "They are looking at this as a miracle and are completely overjoyed."
The couple did not reveal the names of their new babies, and if we've learned anything about them from their previous announcements, it is that they will only share the information when they're ready.
As for how they will raise the twins, Kym told People that she wants to make sure that her son and daughter "have their own identity," so she won't be dressing them the same.
"In the nursery, I've got a Halo Bassinest where they can sleep in it together!" she added. "It's been interesting figuring out what I need two of, what I need one of. It's a lot!"
We can't wait to see the cute little faces of the Herjavec twins, and to find out what their names are!
The twins share a birthday with Prince Williams and Kate Middleton's newest addition to the royal family and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's third daughter, whose birth was also announced on Monday.
Congratulations to Kym and Robert!
