Takeout will be history in your household once you try this Crockpot Orange Chicken recipe! You just can't beat coming home to a slow cooked meal, especially when it takes very little effort on your part.
This recipe is literally 4 ingredients, and it doesn't get much simpler than this. All you need is some steamed rice (instant makes it easy!), a veggie on the side, if you like, and you're good to go. This meal is so yummy!
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- ¾ cup orange marmalade
- ¾ cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Directions:
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and cook in crockpot on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours.
After 3 hours on high or 6 hours on low, drain juices from crockpot.
At this point you can either leave the chicken breasts whole, or remove, cut into cubes, and transfer back to crockpot.
Mix together BBQ sauce, orange marmalade, and soy sauce.
Pour mixture over chicken, and cook on high for 30 more minutes.
Serve with rice. Enjoy!
