Holiday appetizers are always so fun to make! There is such a variety of flavors you can use and these Cranberry Glazed Meatballs are just one of the awesome recipes you are going to want to try.
These are great as an appetizer or if you need a quick meal before the Christmas concerts! You can use frozen meatballs to make it super quick, or if you want to you can make them homemade. Either way it's the sauce that is the true winner here. The cranberry flavors are just what the holidays need! Check it out!
Ingredients:
- 1 package of meatballs
- 1 (14oz.) can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 (12oz) bottle chili sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Chopped green onion for garnish
Directions:
Heat the meatballs in a microwave safe dish with 1/4 cup water. Cover with paper towel and put in the microwave on high for 10 minutes.
While your meatballs heat up, bring the cranberry sauce, chilli sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce to a simmer in a large skillet.
Add the meatballs to the sauce, stir and cook for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Use toothpicks to skewer the meatballs if you are going to serve as appetizers, or serve over rice as a meal!
