We're bummed that summer has come to an end, but thankfully we've got cozy blanket scarves, warm apple ciders and all the delicious autumnal goodies on Cracker Barrel's fall menu to look forward to.
The homestyle comfort food chain wasted no time in introducing their fall menu and while there are enough pumpkin-laced items to satisfy us all, there are lots of other dishes that will ease our transition into the cooler season.
The restaurant has revamped its breakfast, lunch and dinner menu and we're already planning our next visit.
For breakfast, Cracker Barrel is now serving Pumpkin Spice Pancakes, Apple 'n' Cinnamon Oatmeal, Pumpkin Muffins and Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwiches.
At lunch and dinnertime, you'll be able to enjoy the Maple Pecan Fried Chicken, which is smothered in maple mustard sauce and dusted with Southern pecans. The meal will be served with two country sides and buttermilk biscuits or corn muffins. For sandwich fans, there's a mouthwatering Prime Rib French Dip Sandwich Platter on the seasonal menu.
Cracker Barrel will also be tempting you to visit during the week by offering Shepherd's Pie, available on weekdays only.
If you still have room for dessert after all that, you can finish off your meal with the decadent pumpkin custard 'n' gingersnaps.
We're very excited to try all these new dishes, but probably not as much as this couple who dined at every single Cracker Barrel restaurant in the country.
