Cop Shows Off His Dancing Skills When He's Called To A Noisy Party [Video]

<div><p>It can seem like every day there's a new video making the rounds on the internet showing a police officer doing something shocking and unacceptable, but there's two sides to every story.</p><p>Every day police officers put themselves in danger to protect us, and their bravery doesn't always get the recognition it deserves.</p><p>Which is why it's so nice to see this video of a San Antonio, Texas police officer going viral for all the right reasons.</p><p>A loud backyard party attracted some noise complaints from a neighbor, but Leslie Sapp says when police showed up "instead of shutting it down or interrupting, the officer asked to play his song." </p><p>As Sapp says, "the video speaks for itself."</p><div><amp-facebook data-href="https://www.facebook.com/lesliehsapp/videos/pcb.10213175943861473/10213175934901249/?type=3&amp;theater" layout="responsive" height="600" width="640"></amp-facebook></div><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p></p><p>The unidentified officer cut a rug at the party, showing these teens a thing or two about dance with his blazing hot salsa moves.</p><p>The even was hosted by a local organization called Next Generation Dance Crew, which helps kids stay out of trouble and express themselves through dance, so it seems this cop couldn't bring himself to stop the party.</p><p>Sapp, whose daughter learned a few moves from the officer, says he helped break stereotypes about police officers.</p><div><figure><a href="https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10213175934741245&amp;set=pcb.10213175943861473&amp;type=3&amp;theater" target="_blank"><amp-img src="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/04/Sapp.PNG" srcset="https://www.shared.com/content/images/2017/04/Sapp_GH_content_550px.PNG 550w" sizes="89vw" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img></a><figcaption class="op-vertical-center"><cite><a href="https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10213175934741245&amp;set=pcb.10213175943861473&amp;type=3&amp;theater" target="_blank">Leslie Sapp</a></cite></figcaption></figure></div><p><!-- [invalid-shortcode] --></p><p></p><p>"He didn't have to take his time to do that," she told <a href="http://www.ksat.com/news/viral-video-shows-sapd-officer-teaching-kids-how-to-salsa-dance">KSAT</a>, "and could have just [gone] in and shut it down."</p><p>It seems like more kids are <a href="https://www.shared.com/he-asked-his-mom-to-pull-over-when-he-saw-a-cop-then-he-did-this-and-everyone-is-crying/">learning to see a different side of the police</a>, and it helps that today's cops <a href="https://www.shared.com/introducing-americas-first-feline-officer/">have a sense of humor about themselves</a>.</p><p><strong>Share this video if you think police officers are heroes! </strong></p></div>
