In case you didn't know, Cool Whip is a brand of imitation whipped cream, referred to as a whipped topping by its manufacturer, Kraft Heinz. We use it here in North America as a topping for desserts and in some no-bake pie recipes. Basically it's a convenience food that requires no whipping and maintains its texture without melting. It's pretty tasty if I do say so myself.
Cool Whip Mix-Ins are relatively new. However they have been popping up on shelves nationwide so far in two flavors - Oreo® cookies and Double Chocolate Brownie.
Okay, these look good. Delicious even. Who needs to bake anything. You can just eat it with a spoon right? Well Happy Birthday to me - there is a new flavor in town and it has me drooling.
Meet Birthday Cake Cool Whip
Kraft Heinz has yet to officially announce the release, BUT this is not a drill. Birthday Cake Cool Whip is real and it may have already hit your local grocery aisles. Instagrammer @thejunkgoat took to Instagram Saturday to report on the flavor launch after first sighting the birthday cake Cool Whip at Schnucks.
Now apparently the color is a little off putting to some - but according to @thejunkgoat, what it lacks in looks it makes up for in flavor.
What else is there left to say except: Very Merry Unbirthday to You! (yes, you)
