On Tuesday in Italy, George Clooney was rushed to the hospital after being involved in an accident. The 57-year-old Oscar winner was riding his motorcycle through the Italian island of Sardinia when a car struck him.
According to police, the driver of the car "did not respect the right of way," which cut off Clooney and caused the accident. Clooney was driving around 60mph when he was hit, and was thrown 20 feet into the air.
The actor was taken to hospital after complaining of "a slight trauma to the pelvis and bruises to one leg and an arm." According to La Nuova, Clooney also underwent an MRI. Amal Clooney, George's wife, reportedly rushed to his side at the hospital to make sure he was okay.
After tests were run, it was concluded that Clooney was "fine" and was discharged. He didn't have any serious injuries or broken bones.
"George was treated and released from an Olbia hospital," a rep for the actor told PEOPLE. "He is recovering at home and will be fine."
Now, a day after the scary accident, footage of the wreck has been released through Corriere TV. Clooney can been seen thrown into the air before taking a nasty fall. Luckily, the actor was wearing his helmet which broke his fall.

George, Amal, and their twins Ella and Alexander are currently living in Italy while Clooney shoots his Hulu limited series, Catch-22. The doting dad will most likely be spending a lot of time at home with his kids, although his minor injuries may prevent him from doing as much as he used to.
That being said, any time a busy actor gets to spend time with their family, they'll take it! The ER actor spoke about how even though his kids are just one year old, they're already full of personality.
"They start out with a personality right off the bat," Clooney said in an interview. "[Alexander] is a thug already. You saw him," he said to long time pal and Suburbicon star, Matt Damon. "He's a moose! Literally, he just sits and he eats. [Ella's] very elegant, and all eyes. She looks like Amal, thank God."
Clooney also admitted that he didn't want their kids to have "dumb names," so they went with a couple of classics.
"We figured these kids are going to be looked at a lot and watched and [have their] every move sort of judged, and we wanted them to at least have a break with the names," he said. "So we looked for some sort of normal names. We didn't have any great inspiration. It wasn't Alexander the Great and Ella Fitzgerald."
We're glad that George is going to be okay, and that all the Clooneys can be together during this scary time.
