Okay, so you've been invited to a dinner party and you need to bring an appetizer.
Sure, you could bring a 7-layer nacho dip. Then you can add that to the pile of dips everyone else brought, too.
Why not bring something new, fun, and delicious? Chicken Cordon Bleu bites are the perfect appetizer, or even dinner!
These crispy, cheesy, and juicy bites are guaranteed to make any meal just a little bit fancier.
Ingredients
- 2 Boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons seasoning salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 cup Panko® bread crumbs, might need more
- ½ - ¾ cup vegetable oil
- 4 slices cooked ham, cut into approximately 1 inch squares
- 4 slices Swiss cheese, cut into approximately 1 inch squares
Dipping sauce, optional
- â…” cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon mustard
Directions
Add flour, seasoning salt, garlic salt, into a Ziploc bag.
Cut the chicken into even, bite sized pieces. Coat the chicken in milk, then add to the flour mixture.
Shake the bag until the chicken is coated evenly. Dip each piece in milk again.
Add them to the Panko crumbs. Shake until coated.
Fry the chicken bites for 10 minutes, or until completely cooked.
Add a slice of Swiss cheese, one piece of ham, then another slice of cheese on top of the chicken bites.
Mix together the mayo and mustard for a dipping sauce.
