Moving on after a divorce is never easy. For some it may take months or even years, and for others, they're able to find someone to start their new chapter with sooner.
Back in April, one of Hollywood's most beloved couples Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan shocked their fans by announcing their separation.
Tatum, who met Dewan while auditioning for Step Up, posted a statement on his Instagram page, confirming that he and his wife were parting ways after almost nine years of marriage.
We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple. We feel deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now. There are no secrets or salacious events at the root of our decision -- just two best-friends [sic] realizing it's time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible. We are still a family and will always be loving dedicated parents to Everly. We won't be commenting beyond this, and we thank you all in advance for respecting our family's privacy.
In the months after their split, both Tatum and Dewan opened up about going forward without being married to each other.
While chatting with Harper's Bazaar, Dewan called their relationship "a new normal where there is lots of love." She revealed that she's "making moves completely unrelated" to her marriage or separation, and apparently, Tatum was doing the same.
In addition to working on some film projects, Tatum took up sculpting, which was perhaps an outlet for him to channel his heartbreak into.
Now, the exes and co-parents are putting the break-up talks behind them and seem to be completely moving on.
Earlier this month, Dewan stepped out for the first time with her boyfriend, Tony Award-winning actor Steve Kazee. The pair were spotted taking a stroll around Palm Springs and holding hands.
A source close to the couple told People that Dewan and Kazee have "been dating for a couple [of] months and she's really happy." They reportedly have "a lot in common" and things are slowly "becoming more serious."

The news of Dewan's new relationship comes just a few weeks after an insider revealed that her ex-husband has also found love with the British singer Jessie J.
Both the Magic Mike star and the "Price Tag" singer remained hush about their rumored relationship for a while, but it seems like they can no longer hide their romance from the public.
The 38-year-old actor took to Instagram to praise his girlfriend's most recent performance at London's Royal Albert Hall.
"This woman just poured her heart out on stage at the Royal Albert Hall. Whoever was there got to witness something special. Wow," he wrote in the caption.
The actor, who was seen leaving the singer's apartment the day before, also shared a story on Instagram and added, "She went off tonight."
Just a few days earlier, Jessie J also acknowledged their relationship on Instagram. After attending the opening for "Magic Mike London," she shared a story in which she congratulated her new beau on the success of the show.
According to to the reports, the couple started dating in October, but wanted to keep it private for a while.
